America will begin producing silicon solar cells for first time in half a decade
The U.S. solar industry will soon be able to take advantage of domestically produced solar cells. Enel North America, through its affiliate 3Sun USA, announced its plans to build a silicon solar cell production facility in the United States with an expected minimum production capacity of 3 GW.
Kuubix Construction Group installs 126-kW solar project for chemical manufacturer
Hydrite has completed the installation of its first on-site solar array at the company’s Visalia, California facility. The 126-kW solar PV system, completed by Kuubix Construction Group, will provide roughly 16% of the location’s annual electricity consumption.
Pivot Energy assists Denver affordable housing complex with solar procurement
National commercial and community solar provider Pivot Energy announced it is supporting the sustainability goals of Mile High Ministries by investing $100,000 toward the development of a 50-kW onsite solar array and providing a 196-kW community solar subscription to the nonprofit organization’s new affordable housing complex, Clara Brown Commons (CBC).
